Carol worked in clay sculpture with Nelson Villalobos in the Huanta Taller in La Serena, Chile,
and as a mixed media artist on Kaua'i.
On Kaua'i Carol made masks, totems and wall hangings out of recycled and found materials
like shells, beach glass and driftwood, and signed them her Hawaiian name Kalola.
Her pen name for her poetry and other writings is Moonsong.
